Astrobobi: Cosmic Adventures in 3D by Noir Chen
Published Oct 31, 2025
Hong Kong-based artist Noir Chen invites us into a dreamy universe through Astrobobi, a whimsical series following a curious little star voyager and his friends on surreal adventures across distant worlds.
Rendered in 3D, the series blends cosmic wonder with childlike imagination, where glowing jellyfish drift through space, crystal stars hover over neon waters, and soft pastel planets reflect endless light.
Beyond digital visuals, Noir has also brought his characters to life as life-size sculptures and collectible art toys, first exhibited at the Shanghai Toy Show in 2020. The result is a cross-medium narrative that merges digital art, sculpture, and storytelling into one cohesive cosmic dreamscape.
