Colorful Graphic Storytelling by Christoph Frei

Swiss illustrator and graphic designer Christoph Frei creates vibrant, character-filled illustrations that combine bold geometric shapes, playful compositions and a distinctive sense of storytelling. Based in Bern, Switzerland, Christoph runs Chragokyberneticks, an independent design studio he established in 2004 after graduating from the Bern University of the Arts.

There’s a wonderful sense of energy throughout his portfolio, which spans a wide range of subjects, from futuristic underwater expeditions and scientific discoveries to everyday scenes of cyclists making their way through the city. His illustrations feature simple forms, expressive characters and carefully selected color palettes, with compositions that range from richly detailed environments to playful, minimalist scenes.
