Equinox: Surreal Floral Interventions by Grif
Published Feb 6, 2026
Equinox is a surreal digital series that imagines everyday environments overtaken by nature. Created by Miami-based creative studio Grif, the collection is shaped by an unseen force, a transfer of energy that moves through cars, courts, buildings and bodies, pollinating them into dense floral systems.
In Going Green, a Porsche in a remote desert blooms into a living garden. Angels Gate shifts the focus to a basketball court in San Pedro, where flowers colonize painted lines and rigid geometry. That same energy then surges upward in Brooklyn Brownstone, transforming familiar New York facades into vertical gardens.
The series expands further with a dimensional reinterpretation of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, where cracked paint and soft light give way to a blooming floral form. Finally, in Great Basin Skate Heaven, a skater becomes the catalyst, carrying growth across a graffiti-covered skate park in Utah as concrete yields to color and life.
You can discover more of Grif’s art pieces and client work on their website.
