Fuzzy Fellas: Quirky 3D Characters by Chris Schofield
Published Jan 21, 2026
Fuzzy Fellas is a playful lineup of 3D characters by Chris Schofield, a freelance digital artist based in Leeds. Developed as a Cardano-based digital collectible project, the series features adorable fuzzy, wide-eyed figures. Each character is rendered as a crisp 4K artwork that works on its own but also fits into a larger visual system.
Every Fuzzy Fella is assembled from three core components: the Fuzzy body, a themed headpiece, and a companion. Fur styles, colors, patterns, facial features and backgrounds are mixed with headpieces drawn from nautical, wilderness, space and city categories, then paired with companions spanning fast food, fantasy, elemental and animal types. Chris modeled the characters in Cinema 4D, using Blender for hair styling and rendering, which allowed the team to build rarity logic directly into the final outputs. The full set was then assembled through random generation using custom minting software.
Beyond Fuzzy Fellas, Chris has worked on commercial projects for brands like Google, TikTok, Häagen Dazs, DJI and Xiaomi. You can check out more of his work on his website.
