Gas Station: Iconic Cars & Attitude in Amir Mrzae’s Illustrations
Published Jan 21, 2026
Toronto-based artist and director Amir Mrzae is back on the grid with Gas Station, a stylish illustration series that combines classic rides with sharply dressed characters.
Each scene is staged like a fashion editorial. The car takes center stage while its owner stands cool and composed beside it, all set against flat, punchy color backdrops. Chrome trims, wheel arches, headlights, and body lines are rendered with crisp precision, contrasted by bold silhouettes and color-blocked outfits that give each figure a unique identity.
