Golden Veins: Luminous Portraits by Polina Washington
Published Feb 19, 2026
Photographer Polina Washington is back with Golden Veins, a captivating series focused on light, gesture and atmosphere. There’s no written concept attached to the project in her portfolio, but the images speak for themselves.
Polina composes each frame around controlled lighting setups that feel ethereal and architectural. In some scenes, warm golden shafts cascade from above, carving the silhouette of a white dress against a dark backdrop. In others, cool blue points burst into star-like patterns behind the model, turning the body into the center of a graphic halo. The flowing sleeves and minimal styling keep the focus on posture and expression, allowing the light to move across skin and fabric.
