Hangover Ghosts: Surreal Art Toys by Zeptiror & 6Forest Studio

Madrid-based artist Zeptiror, known for his graffiti across the city and gallery work in New York, teamed up with 6Forest Studio to bring his strange and colourful characters into the physical world. Hangover Ghosts is a series of limited-edition art toys featuring bizarre creatures that seem to have stumbled out of a particularly chaotic night.

The collection started with Pluteus, a round-bodied character with mismatched limbs, a skeletal face and a large monstrous eye on the back of its head. Ganji followed as an even more elaborate creation, combining four lanky legs, multiple eyes, bulbous growths and several overlapping personalities within a single body. Both figures feature vivid gradients of yellow, pink and purple, giving their unsettling anatomy a candy-coated finish.

Originally developed through sketches, paintings and murals, the characters were translated into resin by the multidisciplinary team at 6Forest Studio. Each sculpture is handmade and hand-painted, preserving the irregular details and surreal personality of Zeptiror’s original designs.
