Hype&Hyper: A Magazine Shaped by Its Own Typography

Budapest-based designer and visual artist Miklós Kiss, aka kissmiklos, crafted a bold, highly graphic identity for Hype&Hyper, a Central and Eastern European magazine covering trends across strategy, business, design and lifestyle.
Miklós handled the publication’s art direction, logo, typography, cover design and illustration, working with Júlia Bethlen on its layout and graphic design. His signature style and love of typography are evident throughout, with letterforms serving as both an editorial tool and the foundation for his illustrations. The visual system also incorporates his own Chloé typeface, paired with Termina and Optima LT Pro to balance expressive display lettering with a clean editorial structure.
