Northern Red: A Packaging Concept Carved From Arctic King Crab

Belarusian Designer Constantin Bolimond continues his exploration of tactile, story-driven packaging with Northern Red, a striking concept created for premium Red King Crab. We have featured Constantin’s work several times over the years, and this project once again shows his talent for transforming everyday packaging into an object that feels collectible in its own right.

The envelope-style box carries a deeply embossed relief of a full king crab, pressed directly into rust-red textured paper so the claws and spines rise off the surface in sculptural form. The tactile design gives the packaging an immediate sense of luxury, while embossed typography and a classic string-and-button closure reinforce the feeling of receiving something rare and carefully considered. Inside, individually vacuum-sealed crab legs are presented with the same sense of refinement, framed by a clean interior that allows the vibrant product to become part of the overall composition.
