Rather than flattening the terrain, the architects used it to define the building’s unusual configuration, allowing direct access to the landscape from multiple levels while preserving as many of the surrounding trees as possible.</p>\n<p>The elongated structure separates the main residential areas from the bath complex, with three bedrooms, an office, shared living spaces and service rooms arranged across the home. A spacious living area with panoramic glazing opens toward the forest, while the upper level accommodates the bedrooms. Outside, a series of stepped paths follows the slope, leading down to an open relaxation area with a fire pit.</p>\n<p>Dark larch cladding gives the exterior a striking, monolithic appearance, complemented by gray brick and exposed concrete elements. Inside, the palette shifts toward warm natural timber, soft neutral furnishings and restrained black accents. Expansive windows frame the surrounding pines throughout the house, reinforcing the contrast between its dark exterior and the calm, light-filled spaces within. </p>\n<p>For more of Horomy
