But if you have a Pro Controller, an extra pair of Joy-Cons or a household where multiple people regularly jump in for local multiplayer sessions, this little charging station starts to make a lot of sense.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like any other charging dock, the idea is simple: instead of having controllers scattered around the TV cabinet or scrambling for USB-C cables, the Energy Station gives everything a proper home. It can charge up to four Joy-Cons and one Switch 2 Pro Controller at the same time, with dedicated slots for each controller and a large circular LED panel on the front that shows the charging status clearly at a glance. It’s not the smallest accessory in JSAUX’s growing Switch 2 lineup, but it is one of the more useful ones.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01-805x539.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166879\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01-805x539.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01-255x171.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01-768x514.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01-1536x1029.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01-550x368.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-01.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>What&#8217;s in the box</h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the box, you get the Multi-Controller Energy Station itself, along with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable and the usual paperwork.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02-805x571.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166880\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02-550x390.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-unboxing-02.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There’s no wall adapter included, which is pretty standard for accessories like this, but it’s worth keeping in mind. You’ll need to plug it into a USB power source, charger or the Switch 2 dock itself to get going.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The included cable is long enough for most setups, and since the Energy Station folds flat when not in use, it’s easy enough to pack away or move between rooms if needed.</p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Design &amp; build quality</h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of my favorite features of this charging dock is the foldable design. You can open it up when you want to use it, then fold it flat when you want to tuck it away. At 133 x 161 x 32mm (5.2 x 6.3 x 1.3in), it’s not exactly tiny, but that foldable approach makes it feel much more portable and less awkward than a fixed charging stand, particularly if your setup is already feeling a bit crammed. At 310g (11oz), it&#8217;s very light too, so it&#8217;s easy enough to move from the living room to a separate desk setup.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"166885\" data-full-url=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01.jpg\" data-link=\"/?attachment_id=166885\" class=\"wp-image-166885\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01.jpg 1680w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-01-550x390.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1680px) 100vw, 1680px\" /></figure></li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"166882\" data-link=\"/?attachment_id=166882\" class=\"wp-image-166882\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02.jpg 1680w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-02-550x390.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1680px) 100vw, 1680px\" /></figure></li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"166883\" data-link=\"/?attachment_id=166883\" class=\"wp-image-166883\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03.jpg 1680w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-03-550x390.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1680px) 100vw, 1680px\" /></figure></li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"166884\" data-link=\"/?attachment_id=166884\" class=\"wp-image-166884\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04.jpg 1680w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-04-550x390.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1680px) 100vw, 1680px\" /></figure></li></ul></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The build is mostly plastic, but it feels solid and well put together. The matte black finish also fits nicely alongside the Switch 2 and other accessories, without looking too loud or overdesigned.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main visual element is the large circular LED panel on the front. It looks sharp, modern and surprisingly polished for a charging accessory at this price. More importantly, it makes the charging status easy to read at a glance, which is exactly what you want from something like this. </p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover-805x568.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166849\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover-805x568.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover-255x180.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover-768x542.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover-1536x1084.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover-550x388.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-cover.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The layout is clever too. The Joy-Cons snap into the side rails or at the base, right next to a dedicated spot for the Switch 2 Pro Controller. </p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07-805x571.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166888\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07-550x390.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-07.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the best details is that the side charging slots are compatible not only with Switch 2 Joy-Cons but also with the original Joy-Cons. So if you&#8217;ve upgraded to the new console but still have a drawer full of original Joy-Cons (and who doesn&#8217;t), they&#8217;re very welcome here. This kind of backwards compatibility is fantastic to see and JSAUX deserves a lot of praise for that.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging-805x623.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166895\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging-805x623.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging-255x197.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging-768x594.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging-1536x1189.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging-550x426.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-charging.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /><figcaption>Image: JSAUX</figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the back of the top panel, you&#8217;ll also find four game card slots and four microSD card slots, which is a nice bonus that helps turn the unit into a neat little command center for your Switch 2 setup.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05-805x571.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166886\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05-550x390.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-05.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>Charging performance</h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned earlier, this charging dock lets you charge up to four Joy-Cons and one Switch 2 Pro Controller simultaneously. Controllers slot in easily and start charging immediately, and the front display makes it very clear to see what’s happening. The individual indicators are designed as simple controller shapes that are bright, sharp and easy to understand. White means standby, pulsating red means charging, and solid green means fully charged. There&#8217;s also an animated white LED strip between these indicators and the lit-up JSAUX Gaming logo for a bit of flair. </p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08-805x571.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166889\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08-805x571.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08-255x181.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08-768x544.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08-1536x1089.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08-550x390.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-08.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As nice as this display looks, I do wish there was a way to turn it off or even just pause the animated strip, either by tapping the panel or pressing a physical button on the unit. I understand that would have potentially added to the cost, but it would be a welcome addition for anyone who might find it a bit distracting. To be clear, it’s not an issue at all when the charger is sitting on a TV unit across the room, but it&#8217;s something you might notice in specific situations, like a darker room or a desk setup where the dock sits closer to your monitor.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charge times land at around 2.5 to 3 hours per controller and JSAUX also included safety protections for overcurrent, overvoltage and overload, which is reassuring when you’re leaving a bunch of controllers docked at once.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>One small note, in case it wasn&#8217;t obvious already. The Energy Station charges controllers only. It doesn&#8217;t dock or charge the Switch 2 console itself. If that&#8217;s what you&#8217;re after, there&#8217;s a different (and pricier) JSAUX product for that <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"right here (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https://jsaux.com/products/6-in-1-gaming-dock-for-switch-2?sca_ref=4331725.CvftbLa2p5&amp;sca_source=review\" target=\"_blank\">right here</a>.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09-805x447.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166890\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09-805x447.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09-255x141.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09-768x426.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09-1536x852.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09-550x305.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-09.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>Pros &amp; Cons</h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A quick recap of what’s great about the JSAUX Multi-Controller Energy Station and what could be improved:</p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Pros</h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Charges up to 4 Joy-Cons + 1 Pro Controller simultaneously</li><li>Sleek foldable design that can be stowed away when not in use</li><li>Bright and clear circular LED status panel</li><li>Side slots take both Switch 1 and Switch 2 Joy-Cons</li><li>Built-in game card and SD card storage</li><li>Solid build quality</li><li>Great value for money</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Cons</h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>No way to turn the LED panel off</li><li>Footprint isn&#8217;t super compact when fully deployed</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10-805x553.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166902\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10-805x553.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10-255x175.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10-768x528.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10-1536x1056.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10-550x378.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-design-10.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /></figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>Quick Answers</h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does the JSAUX Multi-Controller Energy Station do?</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a dedicated charging station that powers up to four Joy-Cons and one Switch 2 Pro Controller at the same time. It also includes a circular LED status panel and built-in game card and microSD card storage to keep your setup organized.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How many controllers can it charge at once?</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five in total: two Joy-Cons in the side slots and two at the base, alongside a dedicated spot for a Pro Controller. Each charges simultaneously, with its own indicator on the front display.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does it also work with original Switch Joy-Cons?</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. The side charging slots take both Switch 2 and original Switch Joy-Cons, which is a handy bit of backwards compatibility.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How long does it take to charge a controller?</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 2.5 to 3 hours per controller. The appeal here isn&#8217;t necessarily speed but the ability to charge your whole controller collection at once and keep it ready to go.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can you turn off the LED panel?</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>No, there&#8217;s no way to switch the LED panel off or pause the animated strip. It&#8217;s not a problem across a room, but it&#8217;s worth noting for darker rooms or desk setups where the dock sits close to your monitor.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is it worth it?</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a household with multiple controllers or regular local multiplayer, yes. At around $30 it&#8217;s well built, nicely designed and solves a real organization headache, though single-pair owners won&#8217;t get as much out of it.</p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro-805x442.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166900\" srcset=\"https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro-805x442.jpg 805w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro-255x140.jpg 255w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro-768x422.jpg 768w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro-1536x844.jpg 1536w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro-550x302.jpg 550w, https://inspgr.id/app/uploads/2026/06/jsaux-energy-station-review-outro.jpg 1680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" /><figcaption>Images: JSAUX</figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>Verdict</h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have kids, live with roommates or have friends over for Mario Kart sessions all the time, the JSAUX Multi-Controller Energy Station is a great accessory to pick up. It charges five controllers at once, it&#8217;s beautifully made for the price and folds away when you&#8217;re done. The backwards compatibility with Switch 1 Joy-Cons is a genuinely thoughtful extra that makes it feel designed by people who actually play games.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around <strong>$30</strong>, it&#8217;s a fantastic option for anyone trying to keep their Switch 2 setup organized and their controllers always ready to go.</p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https://jsaux.com/products/multi-controller-energy-station-for-switch-2?sca_ref=4331725.CvftbLa2p5&amp;sca_source=review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">View at JSAUX</a></div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https://amzn.to/3SxQ7xB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">View at Amazon</a></div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"small-text\">This post contains affiliate links to partner brands.
