Creality has just pulled off something the desktop laser world hasn’t seen before.

The newly launched Creality Falcon T1 is billed as the world’s first 5-in-1 laser workstation, a single enclosed desktop unit that swaps between five professional laser modules, so one machine can engrave and cut wood, metal, glass, leather, crystal and pretty much anything else you throw at it.

The idea is smart and straightforward: instead of buying a rack of dedicated lasers, you buy one box and change its brain in about 15 seconds.

Five Tool-Free Swappable Lasers

\n\n\n\n

The clever bit is the module system. The T1 takes five interchangeable lasers, each tuned for a different job, and the company says they can be swapped without tools in around 15 seconds:

That selection is what lets the T1 move from soft to hard, thin to thick, and flat to 3D without you ever changing machines. It could mean the difference between a workshop full of single-purpose tools and one desktop unit that does the lot.

Quick and precise

Speed is another major focus. The Falcon T1 uses a high-speed galvanometer system with line speeds up to 10,000mm/s. Creality says that’s up to 8x faster than competing galvo lasers on bitmap engraving. Processing accuracy sits at or below 0.01mm, and the UV cold-laser module goes finer still, hitting displacement accuracy as tight as 0.001mm under the F130 field lens, which is what opens the door to those inner-crystal engravings and fiddly surface detail.

A smart ecosystem

Creality has clearly tried to make professional-grade laser work less intimidating. An HD camera with a quick-calibration algorithm automatically recalibrates after every module swap, and a 4.3-inch touchscreen, mobile app and cloud storage mean you can run jobs with or without a computer.

Built-in AI tools handle auto-calibration, visual alignment, 3D relief generation, background removal, contour extraction and smart fill. It plays nicely with Creality’s own Falcon Design Space software as well as LightBurn and GRBL, on both Windows and macOS.

For higher-volume makers, optional add-ons like a Falcon Conveyor TC1, a 4-in-1 rotary attachment, a knife-blade bed and the AP1 Mini air purifier turn it into a small-batch production line that can handle cylindrical and irregular objects too.

Safety features

The T1 carries Class 1 laser safety certification thanks to a fully enclosed, radiation-blocking build, with a lid-open safety stop, emergency-stop button, laser key lock, dual dynamic flame detection and airflow monitoring on board. It’s worth noting that in open-cover scenarios like conveyor or rotary modes it isn’t Class 1 compliant, so protective gear is a must there.

Price and availability

The Creality Falcon T1 is available now and in stock across the US and Europe, starting at $2,249. That’s impressive when you consider a comparable multi-laser setup can run north of $20,000.

There’s also a 10% early-bird discount across all configurations at launch. The 20W Diode, 40W Diode and 20W Fiber modules are shipping now, while the 5W UV and 60W MOPA modules are set to arrive soon.
