Re:View: A Striking Book That Puts Humanity on Trial
Published Oct 27, 2026
Is humanity worth saving? That’s the big question behind Re:View, a fascinating 400-page coffee table book created for Jung von Matt Neckar and published by We Mind Publishing. The project imagines conversations between the European Space Agency’s Hera space probe and influential figures from science, art and culture, exploring what it means to be human in an age of artificial intelligence and space exploration.
German designer Sebastian Onufszak worked on the book’s visual concept and editorial design alongside Markus Goles, Christoph Grünberger and Anny Wiedleroither. Throughout the book, experimental typography, scientific imagery and abstract collages play off one another. Oversized lettering, layered compositions and grainy textures create a dynamic visual language, while a bold palette of fluorescent orange, metallic silver and black gives the entire publication a futuristic feel.
The attention to detail extends to the book’s physical construction. A silver foil-wrapped cover, circular die-cut details, spot varnish and vibrant orange page edges make Re:View a beautiful object in its own right.
