The Glorious Gallop: Bold Packaging & Board Game by Witta Twist

Ho Chi Minh City-based creative studio Witta Twist developed this striking gift box for Ninety Eight, a Vietnamese Web3 company, turning Lunar New Year packaging into something far more interactive than a ceremonial gift.

Developed around The Glorious Gallop concept, the project uses the horse as both symbol and system. Rather than leaning on familiar festive illustration, the studio pushes the imagery through sharp geometric forms, speed-line textures and a bold red, yellow and magenta palette that gives the whole set a strong sense of momentum. Horses charge across the outer box, while the typography and layered graphics keep everything tightly aligned with Ninety Eight’s modern identity.

But the most interesting element is inside. The three-layer box opens into a custom horse-racing board game, with the packaging itself becoming the playing surface. Translucent horse pieces, color-coded tracks and matching red packets extend the idea across every component, making the gift box something designed to stay in use well beyond the New Year celebrations.
