Barcelona-based image-making studio DAQ creates bold editorial illustrations packed with saturated color, surreal forms and visual ideas that demand attention. Formed by artist David Acevedo Queralt and studio manager Anna Miracle Fandos, the studio works across illustration and animation, developing conceptual imagery for publications and creative brands around the world.

Eyes, hands, screens, smiley faces and fragments of the human body appear again and again throughout DAQ’s work, often combined with glossy geometric forms and impossible arrangements. Their compositions can feel almost explosive, with shapes shooting across the frame, faces broken into floating pieces and familiar digital symbols transformed into physical objects.
