Wild at Heart: The Surreal Worlds of Dulk

Spanish artist Antonio Segura, aka Dulk, creates detailed worlds where animals, plants and unexpected objects merge into dense, surreal ecosystems.

Dulk’s visual language evolved from urban art and mural painting, practices he remains closely connected to while also working across painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and large-scale installations. Many of his compositions are informed by his travels to remote natural environments, combining memories of wildlife with imagined details, vivid colors and recurring symbols.

Beneath their playful surfaces, however, his scenes often point toward habitat loss, endangered species and the growing pressures placed on fragile ecosystems. That ecological focus also drives his ongoing Heritage Project, a global initiative designed to connect communities with nature and raise awareness around conservation.
