Wordplay: Expressive Typographic Experiments by Matt W. Moore
Published Apr 9, 2026
Matt W. Moore pushes typography into motion with Wordplay, a series of expressive compositions built around a bright blue palette. Across the collection, letters stretch, twist and stack into sculptural forms, drifting between legibility and abstraction.
Matt’s ongoing typographic experiments lean into rhythm and structure. Some works bend characters into looping, almost calligraphic paths, while others fracture into sharp, architectural planes. Gradients and grain soften the geometry, and there’s a clever sense of play in how forms connect, overlap and echo across each composition.
