Bordeaux-based studio Abmo has reimagined the identity of Hôtel Buci, a boutique retreat tucked in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The redesign captures the neighborhood’s literary elegance and bohemian spirit while introducing a fresh, contemporary edge.
The new visual language revolves around a bespoke wordmark and a flowing cursive “B” symbol, a nod to the grace of classic calligraphy and the rhythm of modern Paris. A refined palette of earthy tones and soft pinks brings warmth and sophistication, complemented by subtle tactile print finishes across stationery and guest materials.
Abmo’s holistic approach extended beyond graphics, curating art, photography and even background music to align the brand with its physical spaces. The result is a seamless blend of timeless charm and understated modernity, an identity that feels as inviting and personal as Hôtel Buci itself.
