Handcrafted Typographic Logos by Thom Niessink
Published Mar 3, 2026
Amsterdam-based designer Thom Niessink is back on the grid with a new selection of typographic logos created over the past three years. We previously featured Thom’s work here, and this latest update is yet another showcase of his ability to craft distinctive custom lettering.
His process begins on paper. Thom sketches every logo by hand, refining proportion, rhythm and character before translating the drawings into vectors. That analogue foundation is still visible in the final artwork. From the more structured composition of The Guild Bar to the fluid script of Buttacavoli and the punchy, rounded energy of Dough and The Backyard, each identity has a clear, handcrafted presence.
You can explore more of Thom’s work on his website, Behance, Instagram and Dribbble.
