Light & Motion: Expressive Lettering Creations by Ana Gómez Bernaus
Published Nov 28, 2025
Spanish artist Ana Gómez Bernaus combines typography, illustration and 3D visuals to produce lettering designs that burst with color and movement. Born in Barcelona and now based in Los Angeles, her work brings together the organic fluidity of Catalan modernism and the sharp, expressive clarity she developed while living in New York.
Across her portfolio, you’ll find compositions featuring glossy strokes that twist like liquid, gradients that melt into one another and characters that feel suspended in shimmering, atmospheric spaces. Ana’s practice is an ongoing exploration of light, color and material, shaped by her fascination with how these elements behave in three-dimensional environments.
Over the years, her bold, experimental approach has earned recognition from the Type Directors Club, Lürzer’s Archive and a long list of global clients including Nike, Disney and State Farm.
You can explore more of her vibrant typographic universes on her website, Behance and Instagram.
