Ornate Botanical Lettering Creations by Spun Inthawong

Spun Inthawong is a Bangkok-based artist whose portfolio includes a series of richly detailed floral lettering pieces, where individual letterforms are built from winding vines, blossoms, fruit and small narrative details. Her compositions balance decorative complexity with clear structure, allowing the letters to feel expressive and playful without losing readability.

Working across hand painting and digital techniques, she often begins with traditional materials, layering watercolor-like textures and carefully observed botanical forms. Her interest in letterforms began as a self-taught practice in 2015, later evolving through formal studies in Typography and Graphic Design at London College of Communication. In 2017, she received an ISTD Award from the International Society of Typographic Designers, marking an early milestone in her career.

Since returning to Bangkok, Spun has collaborated with a wide range of Thai and international brands across editorial, branding, packaging, murals and custom lettering. Alongside her illustration practice, she has also worked as an artisan at Louis Vuitton Thailand since 2018, bringing the same attention to craft and detail into her work at the fashion house.
